Dear friends and lovers of Africa

Many photographers have known Jackson Naurori for a long time, considered as one of the best guides in Masai Mara. An extremely talented professional guide, Jackson knows the Mara like the back of his hand.
Kenya has been independent since 1963. However, in Masai Mara, all companies related to the tourism sector, which is crucial to the local economy, are owned, in part or in whole, by foreign capital or operators.
Jackson broke with this economic logic, after having guided the world’s greatest professional photographers for more than 10 years, by fulfilling his dream: the creation of the first 100% Masai company, “Tembo by Jackson”, through which he hopes to introduce a wider audience to his region, community and culture.

Tembo Bush Camp

Tembo Bush Camp is a small luxury camp, in which no concessions have been made on the comfort, safety and quality of equipment and services.
It is composed of 6 very high quality tents (35 m2, King size bed, 24/24 electricity, bathroom with very large shower, sink, European style toilets, lots of storage space), 4 double tents and two triple tents.
A huge tent comprises the lounge, the bar and the dining room.
The camp is equipped with a WiFi antenna, which will allow you to keep in touch with your family and friends
Two talented and inventive chefs will prepare delicious and varied meals for you, from a fully equipped kitchen comparable to the kitchen of a very good restaurant.
The service is worthy of the best lodges: beautiful crockery, even in the field, cloth napkins changed at every meal, table service, a well stocked bar with very good Kenyan and South African wines in particular, as well as various original cocktails with or without alcohol.
While the refinement and comfort of Tembo Bush Camp are very appreciable, they alone will not provide the quality of a safari, especially for demanding photographers or nature lovers, who will often spend only the minimum amount of time at the camp, to stay as long as possible on the field.
The camp is judiciously located near the “double cross” place, an excellent location, perfectly central, close to all the remarkable spots;
The vehicles are perfectly suited for photography, video, sound recording and observation, with very large low-profile windows, and can accommodate only 2 to 4 passengers depending on the chosen fare base.
