An Exceptional Safari and Wildlife Photography Experience in Kenya
Tembo by Jackson is a 100% Kenyan safari operator, founded in 2018, unanimously recognised for its commitment to wildlife conservation. The company offers an authentic and unique experience of a real African safari, scrupulously respecting the regulations associated with its field of activity Tembo by Jackson offers two complementary luxury camps in the Masai Mara biotope, Tembo by Jackson Bush Camp in the heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve and Spirit of Tembo Luxury Lodge in the beautiful Lemek Conservancy.
Both camps are owned exclusively by Jackson Naurori, one of the Masai Mara's most famous guides. Both camps are ideally situated in tranquil areas that are particularly rich in wildlife, offering the best possible viewing of wild animals and flora. Both Tembo by Jackson camps are easily accessible, with fast transfers from Nairobi to several nearby airstrips. You can also choose to join us by road (a journey of between 5 and 6 hours) to admire the spectacular landscapes of the Rift Valley. In all cases, we take care of everything, including any overnight stays in Nairobi, as soon as you leave the international airport.
Tembo By Jacskon Bushcamp
Located in the very heart of the reserve, close to Double Cross, Tembo by Jackson Bush Camp occupies a quiet, shaded area in a forest zone regularly visited by elephants, giraffes, hippos and mongooses.
It takes just a few minutes from the camp to reach the main sites of one of the major events in the animal kingdom: the famous annual wildebeest and zebra migration.
Tembo by Jackson Bush Camp is made up of ten large, spacious and fully-equipped tents, surrounded by beautiful vegetation, all unoverlooked and all equipped with a large private bathroom and toilet, a terrace and an office area. Electricity is available 24 hours a day, thanks to our excellent solar panel installation.
One of the nine tents has been specially designed to accommodate people with reduced mobility, including wheelchair users, in excellent conditions, while two other tents are family suites, sleeping 3 to 6 people.
Each of the seven standard tents can be prepared with a king-size bed or twin beds, and it is also possible to add a single bed in each of these tents.
Spirit Of Tembo Luxury Lodge
Located in the magnificent Lemek Conservancy, which features a wide variety of resident and visiting wildlife and breathtaking scenery, about an hour from Tembo by Jackson Bush camp and right next to the Mara North Airstrip, Spirit of Tembo Luxury Lodge offers visitors a haven of peace and serenity, far from the pressures of tourism. Here, in complete freedom and safety, you can discover the pleasures of off-road safari, and also, supervised by our Masai team, discover, at your own pace, the indescribable emotions of walking safari and night safari.
After spending a few days in the hustle and bustle of the Masai Mara National Reserve, many of our guests like to end their safari at our small, intimate and luxurious lodge, Spirit of Tembo, nestling on a hilltop surrounded by beautiful vegetation.
Spirit of Tembo comprises four very large traditional tented rooms, furnished, equipped and decorated with great care by local craftsmen, all with two terraces not overlooked, and a very large bathroom with shower and bath.

OUR SAFARI VEHICLES
Luxuri Safari Adventures
Vehicles are shared by 4 to 7 passengers, but can in option be privatised for 1, 2 or 3 passengers. Our safari vehicles are custom-built 4×4 Land Cruisers designed for African terrains, with reinforced suspension and high ground clearance for comfort and ease. Each vehicle offers spacious seating with clear views of wildlife and scenery, shaded roofs, charging units, a cooler box for drinks, and storage pockets. Safety is ensured with first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and spare tyres, making every safari both secure and enjoyable.
ACTIVITIES
Make the most of your stay
Two Safaris Per Day
Early morning safari departure, to enjoy the magnificent sunrises and the awakening of the savannah, return to camp for lunch and rest during the hottest hours, departure for the second safari around 4 pm and return to camp after sunset. You will be in the savannah in contact with the animals during the best hours and the best light, and when the animals are most active. This programme will be adapted according to your choice if you privatise a vehicle.
Full-Day Safari
On simple request, you can go on an full-day safari without returning to camp at midday, and you will take with you a delicious and very complete breakfast and lunch prepared by our chefs and pastry chefs. These full-day safaris allow you to discover distant lands, such as the Tanzanian border and the magnificent Sand River, or to wait on the banks of the Mara River during the Great Migration, to watch the spectacular river crossings. Your guide will spontaneously suggest these full-day safaris to you if there is any particularly interesting information, such as a cat hunt in the pipeline.
Spirit of Tembo: Night Safari
A unique way to observe nocturnal animals or cats hunting at night in complete safety. You'll use spotlights to search for creatures that come to life after dark.

Masai Mara safaris are not just for cat lovers. The bird-watching safaris are designed for enthusiasts who want to spot and identify the many species of bird found in the Masai Mara, where the biotopes are particularly varied.

Evening around the Campfire
Gathered around a crackling flame, the laughter, traditional songs and dances of your Maasai hosts, and the stories shared, create unforgettable memories that warm the soul.
Breakfast in the Bush
Start your day with a delicious breakfast in the heart of the savannah. Enjoy freshly prepared dishes in the shade of a majestic acacia tree, on the banks of the river, under the curious gaze of the hippos. This serene setting allows you to get out of the car and immerse yourself in nature while enjoying your meal. Breakfast in the field is also a great opportunity for exchanges between the safari participants from the different vehicles involved, who often get together for this moment of relaxation and sharing.
Spirit of Tembo: Observation Tower
From the top of our observation tower in the immediate vicinity of Spirit of Tembo, enjoy a unique nocturnal experience surrounded by elephants, giraffes, zebras, cape elands, impalas and warthogs. Take advantage of this timeless moment to enjoy a house cocktail or a delicious glass of wine.
