Tembo by Jackson Collection at Magical Kenya Travel Expo 2025
From 1 to 3 October 2025, the Tembo by Jackson Collection took part in the Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE) at Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi. Organised every year by the Kenya Tourism Board, the expo brought together leading travel professionals, tour operators and hospitality brands from across Africa and beyond.
Our stand was a chance to share what sits at the heart of Tembo by Jackson: authentic safaris, Maasai-founded and Kenyan-owned, that balance cultural heritage, wildlife conservation and community empowerment. Visitors got to know our two camps:
- Tembo Bush Camp, a traditional tented camp inside the Maasai Mara National Reserve, for an immersive safari close to nature.
- Tembo Spirit Boutique Camp, in the Lemek Conservancy, a serene luxury retreat that supports local communities.
Over the three days our team held productive meetings, began new collaborations and swapped ideas on promoting sustainable tourism across the region. The expo was also a welcome opportunity to strengthen our ties with local and international partners who care about meaningful travel.
We were honoured to have our Director, Jackson Naurori, join us at the expo. His leadership and vision keep us focused on responsible, community-centred tourism in the Maasai Mara.
