Tembo by Jackson Collection at Magical Kenya Travel Expo 2026

From 6 to 8 October 2026 the Tembo by Jackson Collection was back at the Magical Kenya Travel Expo at Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi, the Kenya Tourism Board's annual meeting place for the travel trade from across Africa and beyond.

The collection received a large number of enthusiastic visitors, many of whom recognised the camps' professional service and their commitment to sustainability. Among them were old friends: John Cleave, our Head of Marketing, caught up with Mohamed Hersi of Pollman's Tours, both long-standing promoters of conservation in Kenya.

The marketing team ran the stand, pictured below, with the camps in three words on the banner: Intimate, Extraordinary, Fabulous.

Visitors got to know the two camps: Tembo Bush Camp, a traditional tented camp in the heart of the Maasai Mara National Reserve, and Tembo Spirit Boutique Camp, an intimate retreat in the Lemek Conservancy with a swimming pool and spa tent, walking safaris and night game drives. Both are Maasai-founded and 100% Kenyan owned, and every stay supports Maasai Mara Solidarity.
