If there’s one person who deserves a medal for bravery (and patience), it’s Moses, our head-guide and his guests this week.
This week has been nothing short of a breakfast battle royale in the wild.
Every single morning, just as he and his guests settle down to enjoy a peaceful meal, the Mara decides otherwise.
Yesterday, he thought he was being extra smart – setting up breakfast a solid 3km away from the lions. Safe, right? Well, turns out the lions took it personally.
“How dare you have breakfast in our backyard without inviting us?” Before they could finish their last sip of tea, the lions were on the move, and let’s just say, plates were cleared at record speed.
Today, Moses was determined. No lions, no problem! But just as the guests took a little stroll for pictures, a swarm of bees launched a full-scale invasion on the honey jar.
If you’ve never seen a group of grown adults surrender their breakfast to bees, let’s just say – it’s both terrifying and hilarious.
Moses? Well, at this point, he’s just waiting to see what tomorrow brings. Breakfast with a cheetah? A hyena food review? Who knows! Stay tuned.
