From 1st to 3rd October 2025, Tembo by Jackson proudly participated in the Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE) held at Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi. The annual event, organized by the Kenya Tourism Board, brought together leading travel professionals, tour operators, and hospitality brands from across Africa and beyond.
Our participation showcased the heart of our brand—authentic, Maasai-owned safari experiences that balance cultural heritage, wildlife conservation, and community empowerment. Guests and industry partners explored our two signature properties:

Tembo Bush Camp, located inside the Maasai Mara National Reserve, offering an immersive wild experience close to nature.

Spirit of Tembo Lodge, nestled in Lemek Conservancy, providing a serene luxury retreat that supports local communities.
Throughout the three days, our team engaged in productive meetings, formed new collaborations, and shared insights on promoting sustainable tourism across the region. The expo also provided a platform to strengthen relationships with both local and international partners interested in meaningful travel experiences.
We were honored to have our Director, Jackson Naurori, join us during the event. His leadership and vision continue to guide Tembo by Jackson in positioning our brand as a trusted ambassador for responsible and community-centered tourism in the Maasai Mara.
